About

Walk and talk therapy offers a refreshing alternative to traditional talk therapy in an office. The rhythmic nature of walking, combined with the calming effects of nature, helps clients feel more at ease, encouraging deeper exploration during sessions. Additionally, the benefits of exercise and mindful breath work further enhance the therapeutic experience, promoting both mental and physical well-being. This unique approach can lead to more profound insights personal growth for clients.

Who Can Benefit?

Walk & Talk therapy is an excellent option for those who appreciate nature and the outdoors.  If you have excess energy during sessions and find it difficult to maintain direct eye contact while sitting still, this approach may be ideal for you. We've observed that this method is particularly beneficial for neurodivergent clients, as being in nature offers a calming and grounding influence. It’s perfect for individuals who feel more comfortable engaging in side-by-side conversations rather than traditional face-to-face settings. Enjoy the advantages of movement and fresh air while having discussions. Clients are also welcome to bring their four-legged friends along, and Duke, the lovable yellow lab, may join the sessions if a canine companion is desired!
